Adult vaccination for dT (diphtheria, tetanus)
Vaccination is the best way to protect against diphtheria, tetanus and their complications.
The Quebec vaccination schedule calls for a dose of diphtheria and tetanus vaccine to be administered in the third year of secondary school.
For the best possible protection, a booster dose of this vaccine is recommended at age 50. In certain circumstances, such as the presence of a dirty wound, the booster dose may be administered earlier.
Who can receive this vaccine
