Respiratory virus vaccination campaign

CIUSSS West-Central Montreal 2024-2025 respiratory virus vaccination campaign was launched on October 16, 2024. The influenza vaccine will be administered at the same time as the new COVID-19 vaccine.

Seasonal vaccination against the following illnesses will be available at Local Points of Service:

Who can be vaccinated against respiratory viruses?

The Ministry of Health and Social Services (MSSS) recommends vaccination to reduce the risk of complications, hospitalization and possible death from influenza or COVID-19.

Vaccination against COVID-19 and influenza is free for anyone six months and older. Vaccination is also strongly recommended for people who are:

  • At risk for complications
  • 75 years old and older
  • Have chronic illnesses
  • Pregnant in the second or third trimester
  • Residents of any age in a long-term care centre or intermediate resource facility
  • Likely to transmit the virus to those at risk
  • Healthcare workers
  • Living in the same household as at-risk people or their caregivers
  • Living in remote or isolated communities

To make an appointment for vaccination

Although some services are offered on a walk-in basis, we strongly advise you to schedule an appointment.

  • 6 years and older: With or without appointment (depending on capacity).
  • Under 6 years: By appointment only.

An appointment can be made on  Clic Santé or at 514-734-9911, option 3.

What to bring

  • Your medicare card (if you have one) or your IFH (Interim Federal Health Program) document. If you don’t have a medicare card, bring an ID card.
  • Your vaccination record.
