Vaccination against flu (influenza)

Influenza is a respiratory virus infection that can lead to severe complications, especially in vulnerable individuals.

Vaccination helps prevent flu-related complications and hospitalizations, particularly in at-risk people. It stimulates the production of antibodies, which decrease over time, especially in older adults.

Vaccines are updated annually, based on the characteristics of predicted viral strains.
