What is the MASMJ?
The Mécanisme d’accès en santé mentale jeunesse (Youth mental health access mechanism—MASMJ) receives requests for people aged 0–17 who need fast access to mental health services. The MASMJ team assesses the requests and refers them to the appropriate services and/or professionals. The main goal remains to provide the user with effective support as quickly as possible.
Who can access the MASMJ?
Anyone aged 0–17 who lives in the CIUSSS West-Central Montreal service area in need of mental health services can access the MASMJ.
