During the pandemic, the COVID-19 vaccination campaign proved that CIUSSS West-Central Montreal is capable of offering an improved customer experience that is simple, fast and effective. Now, to build on the success of the vaccination centres and the designated COVID-19 screening centres, the network is consolidating certain vaccination, screening and sampling activities at local points of service. These accessible and flexible sites offer local services and simple, harmonized appointment scheduling throughout Quebec.
This is right in line with the objective of the Health Plan, which is to offer all Quebecers a patient experience that focuses on accessibility and the quality of care. This initiative also enables the public to be redirected to options other than a hospital, thereby relieving pressure on the healthcare network.
