MPOX smallpox vaccination

Vaccination can help protect against MPOX smallpox and its complications. It may be of value for certain people who have been in high-risk contact with someone who has had a confirmed or probable case of MPOX smallpox. The vaccine would be administered in the days after exposure, following a decision by public health authorities. Two doses are required for adequate protection.

People eligible for vaccination
