Vaccines Against Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Infections
Human papillomavirus (HPV) is a common infection primarily transmitted sexually. Certain strains of HPV can lead to serious complications, such as cancer. The best way to protect against HPV infections and prevent its complications is through vaccination.
Who can receive this vaccine?
Vaccination against human papillomavirus (HPV) infections is recommended and offered free of charge to:
- 4th-grade elementary school students
- Youth aged 9 to 20 years
- Individuals aged 21 to 45 who are immunocompromised or living with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)
- Men aged 26 and under who have or plan to have sexual relations with men
The Cervarix HPV vaccine is currently offered free of charge to all individuals aged 21 to 45 at local service points (PSL), while supplies last.

To make an appointment for vaccination
Although some services are offered on a walk-in basis, we strongly advise you to schedule an appointment. An appointment can be made on Clic Santé or at 514-734-9911, option 4.
What to bring
- Your medicare card (if you have one) or your IFH (Interim Federal Health Program) document. If you don’t have a medicare card, bring an ID card.
- Your vaccination record.
